About

Sangin is from Daegu, South Korea and earned his B.S. at Hanyang University in Electrical engineering. His research focuses on modular multilevel converters (MMCs) and active power decoupling (APD) techniques for broad power applications, including motor drives and HVDC systems. He is particularly interested in converter modeling, control, and impedance-based stability analysis, integrating theoretical studies with real-time DSP implementation using microcontrollers. Outside of research, Sangin enjoys going to the gym.
