Hyeongmeen’s Experience: I presented my work on the Extended-Duty-Ratio Multi-Port Boost Converter for hybrid power sources. Unlike my poster presentation at ECCE 2024, this time I had the opportunity to give a full oral presentation, which was a completely different experience. I enjoyed being able to explain the motivation and design choices in more depth, and the live interaction during the Q&A was especially rewarding.

Throughout the session, I had many interesting technical conversations with researchers from various institutions, both after my talk and while attending other presentations. These discussions broadened my perspective on converter modeling and control, and they also gave me new ideas to explore in my own research.

The conference was also a great chance to expand my professional network in a relaxed and friendly environment. Outside of the sessions, I spent some time enjoying Philadelphia’s historic areas and local food, which made the overall trip both productive and memorable.
