About
Luke Andersen is a WEMPEC Master’s Research student at UW Madison. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University, assisting with EV charging projects at the ASPIRE Engineering Research Center. His research experience includes solid-state transformers, single-phase inverters, EV chargers, and power processing units for electric spacecraft propulsion. Beyond technical work, Luke has led student engagement, professional development, and mentorship efforts through the USU Engineering Council and the ASPIRE Student Leadership Council.
