Pourya is a PhD student in Power Electronics and Electric Machines. He received his M.Sc. degree from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran where he conducted research on Failure Detection for Series-Connected IGBTs. His research interests include Gate Driver for Series-Connected Devices, Pulsed Power Systems, and Soft-Switching & Resonant Converters. Pourya enjoys watching detective shows and playing ping pong.
